The Salt Delivery Squad invites you to join us for the FIRST ANNUAL "SALT IN THE CITY" TOURNAMENT!!! Hosted by the fabulous members of SDS, we plan to bring you future monthly Smash tournaments and other gaming events. Be sure to look below for rules, venue information, and pricing.
Pricing and location may change due to venue requirements (Changes will be announced immediately here).

-Event Information-
There will be TWO tournaments held for Smash 4 Singles and Smash 4 Doubles (Teams).
$$-Pricing-$$
.$10 Venue Fee for participants / Venue Fee will be $5 if you bring a set up (Set Up = Wii U Console, Smash 4 Wii U Version, and TV)
Free: For all spectators of any age. (Your cheerleaders, groupies, parole officer, etc.)
.$5 Tournament Entry Fee (Per tournament/Per Person)
**CASH ONLY
=For Venue: No outside food allowed inside the venue, only bottled drinks and gum.

-Smash 4 Wii U Game Settings-
Singles: 2 stocks and 6:00 minutes
Doubles: 3 stocks and 8:00 minutes

Any Omega if both players agree. (Gentleman's Rule)
* Miiverse is treated as Battlefield during the stage ban phase. If Battlefield is banned, then Miiverse is also banned, and vice versa.
!!*Gentleman's Rule" ALLOWED - This rule allows players to choose any stage they want, including banned stages, if all players in the match agree
to it. This rule also allows previously played stages by the victor to be played again in the same set if agreed by players.
-Selection Details and ETC-
=Stage Striking: Players eliminate stages from the Starter/Counterpick stagelist until there is one stage remaining. The player or team without
port priority strikes first. Then the other player/team strikes two stages. Then the player/team with port priority strikes one more stage and the
remaining stage is used for the first game of the set.
=Stage Clause: A player/team may not pick any stage they previously won on during the set.
=Stage Bans: During the stage ban phase, the winning player may ban two stages from the stagelist. All stage bans affect both players, meaning
players who banned a stage may NOT counterpick that stage themselves later in the set.
=Self-Destruct Moves: If a match ends with the successful use of a character’s self-destruct move, the results screen will determine the winner.
=Team Colors: Players’ character colors must match their team’s color when possible, to avoid confusion (ex: Luigi on the green team must use the
green costume).
=DLC Characters: All DLC characters are legal in addition to the entire cast of characters on the select screen.
=Wireless Controllers: Wireless controllers of all kinds are allowed, including the Wii U Gamepad, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo 2DS.
=Glitches: Any glitches that freeze the game are banned, and the player who initiated the glitch is subject to forfeiture of the match.
=Software Version: Game must be updated to the latest version.
