Singles and doubles tournaments for Brawl, Melee, Project M and Smash 4 will be hosted at Peabody's Bar and Grill.

12:00 P.M.: Doors open for registration and casuals.
1:00 P.M.: Brawl, Melee and Smash 4 Singles Brackets begin

All tournaments will be double elimination bracket.
All matches will be best 2 out of 3

55%/30%/15% if less than 32 players.

4 Stocks, 8 Minute Time Limit, Best of 3 Games. Finals are Best of 5.
Items are disabled.
Input buffer is disabled
Auto L-Cancel is disabled
All chain grabs and infinites are legal
Pause option is disabled in the game menu. If left on, accidental pausing mid match forfeits a stock.
You may not choose the last stage you have won on during a set, unless agreed by both players.
If time runs outs, the tie is determined by most stocks, and then if still tied, by percentage. If percentage is tied, a 1 stock, 3 minute match is played.

Ties after the time limit are determined by stocks, then by percentage.

Master Hand is banned.

Stalling with Jigglypuff's Rising Pound or Peach's Wall Bomber is banned.

Glitches such as Ice Climbers' Freeze Glitch and Mewtwo's Soul Stunner are banned.

Non-first party controllers must be inspected by TO staff before use in tourney.

Any action that can prevent the game from continuing (freezing, disappearing characters, game reset, etc.) will result in forfeiture of the match for the player that initiated the action. You are responsible for knowing your own character and must be wary about accidentally triggering one of these effects.

Dave's Modified Rule: You cannot counter pick the stage you last won on in a set unless agreed upon by the opponent.

Player's Choice Clause: You may play by a rule outside of this rule set if your opponent agrees to it as long as it does not deliberately delay the tournament process. In the event of a disagreement, house rules stand.

Double Blind Character Picks: Players may elect to double blind pick their characters for the first match in case of any disputes.

Neutral Spawn Points: Players may elect to use neutral spawn points to decide controller ports for the first match in case of any disputes.

Stage Strike from Neutrals for the first match of the set in "1221" fashion: First player strikes one stage, then second player strikes the next two stages and, finally, first player strikes one stage.

Meta Knight and Ice Climbers are not legal.

For game one, the stage is decided by players alternately striking in a 3-3-2-2-2-2 pattern. To decide who begins, both players may use Mr. Game and Watch Side B and the highest number strikes first.

After each match:
1. Winner announces 3 stage bans
2. Loser chooses counter pick stage
3. Winner chooses their character
4. Loser chooses their character
5. Winner chooses their controller port (optional)
6. Loser chooses their controller port (optional)

Port is may be re-selected with counterpick.

Any games ending in a tie running out should always be decided by stock, and then percents. If percents are the same or both players die simultaneously, there will be a 1 stock overttime or the sudden death will be played out. The TO needs to decide which of these will be used before the tournament. If tie was caused by a suicide move (e.g. Ganondorf's Side B), the initiator is the victor.

Should a player have a color-based disability, he or she may request in a teams match to have a specific color for their team. This is so characters such as Lucario or Sonic can be granted the blue team so that there is not unnecessary confusion.

Wiimotes and Classic Controller users should know to take the batteries out of their controllers after finishing a set; not only will this save battery life, but it prevents accidental intereference and delay for tournament matches.


Smash 4

Game Settings: 2 Stocks, 6 Minute Time Limit, Best of 3 Games.

Items are disabled

Players cannot choose stage that they’ve already won on unless agreed upon by both players.

Custom fighters off

Default Mii fighters are legal. Not allowed to import your own mii fighters.

If time runs outs, the tie is determined by most stocks, and then if still tied, by percentage. If percentage is tied, a 1 stock, 2 minute match is played.

If Final Destination or Battlefield is picked, the other player can request that an Omega stage or Miiverse, respectively, can be chosen instead
