Very nice guide.
Mostly just learned that most of his attacks have Light and Hard variations and I don't have to be bothered with those tricky Medium inputs. That and kinda got a good feel for how to translate the L, M, H, using all of his attacks [e.g. with cr. L & M K it's just cr. A and cr [A] then cr. HK is down smash].
I like how you used Soul Cal notation. Only thing I think the guide is lacking is you never mention qcf, qcb, hcf, dp, etc. Sooooooo.... here goes.
789
456
123
When facing right...
qcf [quarter circle forward, aka hadouken ] is 236
qcb [quarter circle back, sometimes refered to as tatsu] is 214
dp [Dragon punch ] is 623
hcf [half circle forward] is 41236
There are other similar notations in the world of street fighter. But I just posted the ones that will be used for Ryu in smash.
Also, bonus [and I haven't tested this and really wonder if it's a thing in smash] are jump cancels with notations like tiger knee notation
2369+A [in games like sfIV, Capcom vs whatever, and other command input heavy fighter (basically everything that's not smash) you can input 2369+Attack for an attack that's normally 236+attack in other to do the attack at the lowest possible point in the air. ] This command in capcom vs whatever games is useful for jump cancelling combo's.
Also it can be used for any move that's available in air while grounded. For DP it's 6239+A. Sometimes the air versions are better than the ground or the jump will cancel whatever attack you're doing...
Really need to get ryu and test all this **** out now...
