Back in 1.0.8, Charizard got a buff to his Down Tilt, giving it a suction effect so it could hit better. Charizards Dtilt has always had amazing Tech chase potential through all the patches, but now that it's a consistently hitting move, these tech chase opportunities should be a *Major* part of your Charizard game.
From 10% on all Characters, Dtilt launches opponents at a low, hard to tech angle.
Here are some thing you can do if you predict how they react.
Getup: Simplest Punish, Just grab into one of charizards Combos, I recommend from 10% his B&B Dthrow>Fair.
Roll Backwards: This one is Pretty simple too, most of the time at early percents, you can follow up with side B, since rolls aren't invincible all the way through. Though on rare occasions a dash Straight into a Jump Canceled Down B Will make the opponent eat 29% from all the hitboxes. Also, the option to predict a shield and grab is always there.
Roll Forward: You could Follow into any of your smash attacks, But I recommend Fsmash or Dsmash, Usmash isn't rewarding enough for me. You could also grab the opponent for a potentially damaging combo, or you could use Down B.
I don't recommend UpB unless the opponent has a large hurtbox, since it ends up whiffing more than not.
Getup Attack: If your Opponent for whatever reason decides to use a getup attack, I Recommend Shield grabs and Down B. In fact, Shield grabs are the Universal punish to Getup Attacks, so don't forget that.
So that's it for now, I'll continuously update this as I find more Useful things to do with Dtilt, and Maybe I'll do a Full fledged guide in the future. Tell me of anything you find and if it works, I'll put in this Guide under your name.
Thanks for reading, and prove to the world that Charizard is the best!
