I figured I would step up to the plate and begin a general guide to Samus, seeing as there has been a lack of love since Zero Suit Samus. This guide will explain practical uses of Samus' moves, and the types of situations they will yield the best results. I'll also go into a few combos / tricks that I have had success using in For Glory matches.
Samus is a very mid-tier character, which may make winning online that much more difficult. Other players will choose characters that outclass you, so if you are dead-set on using Samus, you're gonna need to pick up that extra slack. The key thing that I've noticed is the need to be unpredictable. Being able to counter read their reaction to the move expected of you, and using something unconventional instead, really throws off your opponent. I will update posting strategies, and possible combos, but for now I have compiled the damage calculations for Samus' moves.

Neutral Attack - Punch (Two hit combo): First Hit 3, Second Hit 8 Total 11
Dash Attack - Shoulder Charge: 10
UpTilt - Axe Kick: 13
SideTilt - Spin Kick Forward: 6
DownTilt - Flamethrower Pulse: 12
