Small Jigglypuff Guide

Game Versions
Smash 3DS, Smash Wii U
So Jigglypuff in Smash 4 is garbage. Although this is true and Puff can be argued as the worst character in the game, there are still a few tricks you can do to at least try to keep Puff in Smash 4.

1.) Camp...
Although this requires you to be a patient player and a smart one at that, camping can help you get timeouts, play mindgames and bait your opponents.

2.) Jabs...
Jigglypuff's double jabs comes out really fast and can be used to stop opponents from stupidly approaching. You may be able to get 2 sets of double jabs until to player can escape (Fast Fallers generally can escape depending on how close you are to them, floaties usually get trapped for 2 sets if at low %)

3.) Aerials...
This one may seem obvious but the only thing Smash 4 Puff has going for him/her is it's aerials. Neutral-Air is usually used for approaching but can also edgegaurd, Forward-Air is used for chasing, spacing, and edgegaurding (Best aerial to me), Up-Air is only used for up-tilt 2-hit combos (up-tilt to Up-air) nothing else the other aerials can't do. Back-Air is Jigglypuffs strongest aerial and is used when the opponent is near ledge or trying to approach.

4.) Reading Your Opponent...
Jigglypuff's Rest can still kill (kinda) early reading rolls and airdodges to the ground is essential for a Puff player, not to mention reading airdodges for edgegaurds. You need really solid fundamentals and a lot of confidence to solo-main Puff in Smash 4

Have fun trying to main Jigglpuff in smash 4! I wish you luck, you're going to need it.

I appreciate the effort of trying to submit a guide, however, the guide is unprofessional, too short (probably just a nitpick on my part), and underplays/completely neglects setups to rest and moves with kill power. And just the fact that it immediately negates any ground moves is a turnoff for me. For example, one of her best moves is her dash attack, which has a good bit of kill power. I will say that a good bit of stuff discussed is true. Her aerials are at the heart of her gameplay, and reading is part of what makes or breaks her. However, that's common knowledge that most Puff discussions always bring up. The guide simply fails to go into depth.
