Back with PART 2 of the Falcon Talk, AKA if I could remember things I wouldn't need a part 2.
As with the last guide, here are my notes along with some stuff I forgot to add. Enjoy!
- Platform drop fastfall upairs
- Fall thru platform upair
- Fastfall up-b - platform approach
- Waveland off platforms, mix up aerial timing & spacing
- shield drop edgecancel edgehog
- Shield poke stomp
- shield poke with instant no fastfall knee+upair. mostly vs falco and marth
- shield poke on platforms with upsmash+upair+knee+stomp
- Utilizing every stage's unique differences
- Wasn't clear about disadvantages of bigger stages. You don't want to let your opponent control too much space. They can use it to react to your options and keep you out. Especially vs those with good neutral, you'll want to prioritize fighting for space, not just constantly approaching.
- TL;DR Stage control is really important.
- Another advantage of round stages (BF & DL), you can always retreat to top platform to slow things down or recompose yourself. You always have the option of not engaging by using the platforms.
- (Forgot to add: FoD platform heights for aerials)
