Hey there im ShadowKing and im a full time charizard main in PM.These guide will help you learn the best way to play these firey beast
Part 1:
Grabs:
Forward throw: His forward throw is a good kill move at the end of the move or can help you combo into a dash attack or a u smash
Back throw:also known as his chain grab after throwing your opponent back wards dash to a re-grab continue these chain and it'll rack the damage up to about 60%
Down throw:Like Fox and Falco they'll stay on the ground so predicting a get up attack or a roll can let you f smash u smash or d smash and like fox and falcon at the edge of the map it can be a meteor.
Up throw:His best kill throw when using try to watch for the DI or if its a failed DI follow were they go because Charizards up throw has a vertical effect after letting go
Part 2:
Killing:
His fsmash is his best kill move by far by killing a heavy at 110% but the worst part about throwing out these move is the end lag so i would suggest using these move if your opponent has a broken shield or using it after the Dthrow.
His Dsmash is a spike on the edge if the opponent gets it under the wing.These move on the stage will send your opponent gliding across the stage so i would suggest using these moves in teams.
His Usmash is a good move to combo in plus these move can help you bring your opponents in the air so you can hit the with a fair or bair it is a "juggling"tool at low %
Part 3:
Combos:
His killer combo is when you Usmash your opponent then use Down B witch will "spring"you in the air then yousing fair or bair fair is the best option on stage and bair is his best option of stage
His Jab witch is a single hit can be used as a combo tool Jab-dash attack-grab-u air
his f throw can be used as a combo tool because after throwing them you can fair them dash attack them in to a fair or u smash
Part 4:
Tilts:
His juggling tilt is utilt his dtilt can be be a kill move or a edge guard it has a sweet spot closer to the fire and a sour spot farther from the fire(these includes his bair)his stilt is a good spacing tool because when used he lunges out.
Part 5:
Edge Guarding tools:
Fair,bair,dair and neutral a is his best edge guarding tool.Fair will send your opponent up war but can kill if sweetspoted his b air is his best edge guarding tool because it sents your opponet back wards plus DB can be helpful so you can save your jumps his dair is well his meteor so not really useful is NA is his second best edge guard because it will push them back one more thing his NB is a good edge guarding tool
Part 6:
Weekness:
Being easily comboed is his worst weekness meaning a character like pikachu can rack up more damage fast then you can
Part 7
Pros:
Being Heavy means you can easily survive at a high % of damage and his kill power can help you kill your opponent at low % before they can kill you
