The Power of Peace a Link Guide

Hello My name is MugenZeta. In the competitive Smash community I'm known as YourTooCheap. I do main Link and Young Link.
******************************************DISCLAIMER*************************************
I am only here to give you tips and tricks different people have different play styles.
I WILL ALSO NOT BE COVERING BASIC TECHS!
LINK IS ALSO A VERY TECH HEAVY CHARACTER!!!

***********************************************************************************************
SH= Short Hop
WD= Wave Dashing
DD=Dash Dancing
TR= Tether Recovery
HB= Hit Box
LC= L-Cancle

Lesson 1
Understand that link is a heavy Character which means that he cant be K.O'd
easily BUT he can be caught in combos easily.
OK we will start with something easy: the uses of NAIR.
Links NAIR is a spacing, approach and cut-off option.
Using NAIR you can cut-off moves like Fox's UP B or Marth's FAIR.
Use it often but don't be predictable.

Lesson 2
Link has his trusty tools to help him in battle and these are KEY to being able to use link well.
Link has a bombs, boomerang, arrows, and a grappling hook.

Link can have up to 4 bombs on the field at a time before one explodes.
The bombs can be caught in midair and bombs do explode on contact.
Bombs are good in shield pressuring as they can be caught and thrown over there shield making them bounce on contact.
Using Z in mid air makes link drop bombs instead of throwing them
Bombs are also good for spacing as well as good set-ups example:
bomb to NAIR
bomb to FTILT
bomb to JAB

The boomerang has a HB going out and coming back.
Boomerang is used for damage and cutoffs as well and it being safer than NAIR.
you should use this most often as the HB coming back can stop or cutoff grabs.
Using the analog stick during throw animation allows you to throw it in any direction in front of you.
Combos with boomerang include:
boomerang to NAIR
boomerang to FTILT
boomerang to UP B
boomerang to WD to UTILT

Links arrows are rarely used because of the charge time but they are still key to Links tools.
Arrows for Link are ONLY for CUT-OFFS that is it.
The key to using them well is to time it correctly.
Such as if Link is getting caught in a move that ca lead to a follow up try an arrow to cut off the up coming attack.

Links grappling hook is a VERY VERY good tool.
This extends his grab greatly BUT at the cost of if you miss you will be left open.
Is also used in recovery but that will be explained later in this guide.
The for the Grappling Hook in just gonna say Grab. Ok, I'll Identify it with G.
So the GH is good for cut-offs, mix-ups, and recovery.

Awesome! Even though this is WIP, I can feel that some good stuff is coming along the way. There are a few spelling mistakes you could fix (such as L-cancel) but other than that, your guide is off on a good start! :)
(I have no clue whether you're actually going to finish this, but this guide has potential! :D )
Good start! There haven't been any Melee Link guides so, I'm happy with this. There are a few typos and weird word placement in this, but I'm sure that you can fix that, as this is a work in progress. You should talk about bomb-teching and bomb jumping as well. I look forward for the updates to this guide!
