What's up everybody? The 0ne has returned.
This time, I've got a nifty little list here about who can bounce off of walls in Smash! This will include every character in Smash history, as of Smash 4. I'll also of course be covering characters that can...take that a step further. It'll also include how Wall Jumping can benefit you during a match in a number of useful and specific ways!
This is performed by either holding toward the wall and pressing jump, or by simply moving as close to the wall as possible and tapping away from it.
It is possible to string Wall Jumps together, even on the same wall, but only if you do an aerial in between each one. This slightly decreases the height each time. This is useful for stalling during recovery or edgeguarding. However this is only possible in Smash 4 if the character has a Wall Cling. We'll touch on what that is later.
Now, all the characters that can do it.
Mario (after his up-b as well, but only in Melee and Project M)
Little Mac
Toon Link (Young Link)
Samus
Zero Suit Samus
Fox
Falco
Wolf
Pikachu
Pichu
Duck Hunt
Captain Falcon
Villager
Wii Fit Trainer
Dr. Mario
PAC-MAN
Mega Man
Sonic
Mii Brawler
Mii Gunner
Mewtwo (Smash 4 only)
Ike (Project M only; only after Quick Draw)
Sheik
Greninja
Lucario
Squirtle
Diddy Kong
Of course, everyone can TECHNICALLY wall jump when they wall tech, but if they can freely wall jump anyway, their wall tech jumps will go higher.
For some characters this is a great ledge option because they either have a great back air (ex. ) or their whole body is able to make it on stage (ex. and ).
Check this video out for a visual example!
Next is the Trump Jump. This is a useful technique only in Smash Wii U/3DS for characters who can Wall Jump. When you're being ledge trumped, you can actually interrupt the trump animation with a wall jump to turn the tables! This was discovered by @kirbykid in a Tech of the Week episode. Take a peek!
Special Cases
This section will be a bunch of extra information about Wall Jumps that you may have noticed while playing the game. First I'll talk about certain moves that "wall jump" when they hit a wall.
These are moves that have a special bouncing animation when they come into contact with a wall. I'll go ahead and list them off.
Peach Bomber
Clown Kart Dash
Wario Bike
Rocketbarrel Boost
Bouncing Fish
Wizard's Foot
Flip Jump (pressing jump is required)
Drill Rush
Flare Blitz
Rollout
Ness's PK Thunder (useful for the double PK Thunder tech)
Falcon Kick
Power Pellet
Homing Attack
Lucas's PK Thunder
All z-airs
You may have noticed I left a few out in that list...
Extreme Speed
Green Missile
Spin Dash
Spin Charge
I decided to put these into a special category. These moves don't have bouncing animations, but rather special ones specific to that move. During Green Missile, Luigi gets his head stuck in the wall. Lucario can cancel Extreme Speed into his Wall Cling, and he won't be put into freefall afterward. Sonic puts his hands out and stops himself on the wall for a hefty amount of lag, but only on the ground.
That's all! I hope I covered everything you were looking to learn. Thanks for reading and be sure to leave a review!

Wall Jump
If you don't know, a Wall Jump is a technique that certain characters can do which allows them to rebound off of a wall without using their double jump. It also always turns the character to face away from the wall, regardless of their initial direction. This allows for a better recovery depending on the stage, and better (and infinitely flashier) edgeguarding because you can do an aerial right after the Wall Jump to body your recovering opponent. This is performed by either holding toward the wall and pressing jump, or by simply moving as close to the wall as possible and tapping away from it.

Wall Cling
The Wall Cling is an even rarer ability. It is basically an upgraded version of the Wall Jump. This is when a character attaches themselves to a wall for approximately 3.3 seconds by holding toward the wall.Sheik
Greninja
Lucario
Squirtle
Diddy Kong

Advanced techniques
(Shoutout to @danishbutrcookies for actually getting my lazy ass to do these, and Special Cases down below!)
So first, I'll go over the Instant Ledge Wall Jump. This is a technique present in every smash game (except 64) where you can Wall Jump immediately after dropping from the ledge. It is done by lightly tapping backward to release from the ledge, then immediately smashing forward, in one quick fluid motion.(Shoutout to @danishbutrcookies for actually getting my lazy ass to do these, and Special Cases down below!)
For some characters this is a great ledge option because they either have a great back air (ex. ) or their whole body is able to make it on stage (ex. and ).
