Spacing and mindgames. For Meta-knight, kirby's airgame is better *I find*. This match up should be mostly in the air. Marth, knowing his move set helps. Try sheild-grabbing, air dodge and spot dodging *Dodging in place* should work nicely when it comes to his Fsmash and his Fair. Ducking works...

Lol, same thing happened to me when I picked Meta-knight. I played with him once and since he's an easy guy to pick up and use, I ***** but got tired and went back to my main. My friend tried him and was like "Oh snap!" even though he didn't win... He just did slightly better but that's besides...

His Fsmash, Bair, Usmash and Dsmash seem pretty good. I play Snake but these are the moves that do me in about every time. MEH....darn pit.
