I'm thinking of popping over tomorrow for the Singles tournament. It'll be my first ever so I'll almost assuredly get my ass kicked, but it will be nice to get some experience.

Hey I learned something about Greninja the other day that helped me fight against them, dunno if you knew so I figured I'd tell you (you probably do though since you main him)

Greninja's side special (left or right b) will make his own shadow disappear and a circular one will move across the stage indicating where he will teleport to. Greninja and whoever he is fighting can both see this.

I noticed you posted in the General Advice thread for Wii U and it seemed as though nobody answered your question about pivot grabbing so I figured I would here.

I also noticed my pivot grabs were inconsistent. After trying multiple things, it appears as though you have to input grab right before you turn around; essentially Dash -> Grab -> Pivot.

I just saw this part of your post in SamuraiPanda's thread: "Most people would recommend that you stay away from advanced level characters when you are new to the game, but I would personally recommend that you start using them immediately if you ever plan to main them at all, so you will get a headstart and learn them now so you won't have to lean them later."
