Yo @MonkeyArms have you seen Diddy Kong's kill set ups? Yoshi doesn't have that, and in my opinion, that's enough to make Diddy better than Yoshi. Diddy can so so much easier in neutral, whereas Yoshi just loses to back roll. Also, Yoshi's recovery is easily gimped as well.

It's not particularly impressive, but still something worth knowing about the blast radius of Up B:

@Sodo Gotta space those bairs if you're going to approach in neutral. But at that point if you're hitting a shield with a spaced bair you may as well be using neutral b.

Best way to use a meteor smash move is to not fish for it (at least, one that's medium difficulty to land like our fair). If you try it every time, then they'll see it coming... every time.

I don't have a human player to test against, but you can do an up-B on the ground and immediately crash it in to the ground for an easy 25-28% (ish). Only character I've tested it against was Villager. It worked from 14% to 45%. Sure, it does 5% to you, but the shield knockback makes it hard to...

Not sure if it's already been said, but I find myself doing fair -> jab combo -> dash attack and then think about the follow up with maybe a bair or dair, but who cares, they are in the air and you have a lot of options, after the dash attack it's free game but I find a lot of people spot dodge...

Yeah I agree with Slush. Whenever I get 'gimped' I feel like it's just me gimping myself. Most common for me is forgetting that my eggs don't reset after a ledge release. Sakurai pls. Oh, and the dreaded egg roll of the edge. All Yoshi mains know this pain, I'm sure. As far as actually gimping...

Jab just seems better in most situations.
