I picked up Okami the other day, got home, started playing it...and of course, wii remote batteries died just as I was starting to get sucked in.

Same. After a few times of dying because the edge was being guarded or hogged, my little brother now often edgehogs when someone is off the stage. Actually, I guess he dosen't really think about it, since he often does it even when it's obvious he's just gonna get hit off the ledge...but still...

Those characters arent broken. Just tell your friend to stop complaining and play the game.

I don't think that smash balls should be allowed. Having the possible outcome of the match tossed to the winds because someone got the smash ball would, in my opinion, distract from the game and change the feel of it. Keep them to friendly games.

After having played as Yoshi and Young Link in Melee, before going on to a brief...er, affair (hrm..) with Toon Link in Brawl, I decided to have a few games with Bowser. Afterall, I had enjoyed playing as him from time to time in Melee. Anyway, those few games turned into a few more...and so...

Coming from playing melee, it took a while for me to adjust to the differences in brawl. Luckily, once you have a grasp of both, you can sort of switch between them without too much trouble.

Hrm.. Strawberries, Pineapple and tomatos! Yumeh.

A lot of people say they find the original Donkey Kong hard, though I personally find it to be rather easy. The NES Megaman games (except perhaps the second one..) are all pretty hard in my eyes.
