I couldn't do it before, but after practicing it on Luigi first I can do it pretty easily now. But only going right, I can't do it at all going left for some reason. It seems pretty useful, but the distance you go isn't too great if you don't run far. Maybe you should make a video of you testing...

Could you maybe make a video that shows your controller too? I can't do it for some reason. Or maybe a video of a match where you used it?

Is practising spiking really crucial now? Since it's harder to do at not used as much as it was in melee... I mainly get side KOs and occasionally star KOs and the only reason i can think of to spike is if i'm on the edge to make sure the person trying to recover dies.

It's pretty easy doing it while making contact... i can't seem to do it without making contact. it's possible right? do i need to use the control stick to do it with making contact?
