I don't consider chain grabbing to be a combo, and I don't think many claim that there are no guaranteed combos, just that there are barely any at all.

Lol, don't get grab is not a viable answer. You might as well just say don't play the game.

Hey guys, I just discovered a super useful technique. I like to call it the wavejumpairdodge. It's where you jump and then air dodge. Hey ain't I useful?

I haven't tried this yet, but try up B on the ground towards them.

Probably because Brawl is just Melee with crappier gameplay, even more broken infinites, a completely useless online mode, and stages that are filled with hazards and are poorly designed.

You can still fastfall aerials, I think, since some of them have nearly 0 lag on them as it is.

I dunno, looks like attacking someone on the ground will be gimped if they can perform this technique consistently, especially if they're using a character with huge range like ZSS and Ike. I think I'd opt to use a projectile fighter and tap them into an attack, then I'll just abuse sheild grab...

Well that settles it, the offensive game is officially dead.

Wow, that guy is horrible at writting. Half the time he wasn't even talking about the game he was reviewing. Sounded more like a Nintendo rant by someone with an ego problem.
