I can see some Australian slang has already started to rub off on you, lol. As for gfs, yeah, it's taken a lot of trial and error for me to find a "compatible" person too (and even then it didn't last
). I wouldn't recommend a long-distance relationship. Things actually changed for me when I mustered up enough drive to ask someone out, instead of them asking me, but yeah, most girls, at least from my experience don't do that, especially the shier ones. From the optimistic side of my pessimism, chances are the ones who are taken now won't be forever, so hopefully you're in a state wanting a relationship when the chance arises. In any case, I agree all this relationship nonsense can often be a *****.
