DLC modes, naah. I don't know anyone who would buy extra modes. Extra characters or stages would be a different story. Though, I do think it could be pretty sweet if they made DLC stages exclusive for 3DS and stages for Wii U. That could boost 3DS viability after the release of the Wii U version

I think most of the stages on 3DS are 3DS-exclusive, or just share a name with a different stage. Aside from that, I do see your point here. Imo they did as much as they could to put lots of content on the 3DS version, but they made a mistake when they used the same content on the Wii U version...
