I hope you're right. Poor Goemon didn't get the song in his mini-trailer, so I hope Geno has more luck.

It's probably going to be the standard Geno costume from Smash 4. I don't even expect it to be a deluxe costume. Having the Forest Maze theme in the game would be amazing, but I see no reason to believe Geno will receive the deluxe treatment.

Thanks for the memories, Michel Ancel. Rayman 2 was my very first video game, and I still do yearly replays of it. I would have loved to see Rayman 4 from him, but I can understand why he would want something new. I hope he enjoys this new chapter of his life. As for the future of the Rayman...

Yeah, I doubt Sakurai is going to care much about certain monsters appearing in the right habitat. They will probably pick some of the most iconic monsters as hazards/cameos, like Tigrex, Nargacuga, Deviljho and hopefully Glavenus (my favorite monster).

I am curious what stage they would pick for Monster Hunter, because there's a lot to choose from. I think Deserted Island would be the most recognizable map for Nintendo fans. It will most likely be Ancestral Steppe though, because they already have assets for it.

I think the echo fighters are great. Most of the echo fighters had a slim chance of becoming playable without the concept, except maybe Ken, who could have passed for a semi-clone. It was either this or not having them at all.

Rocket League car, with the underwater arena as the stage. Would make for a very pretty stage.

I don't know what to think about this. I have a quite simple rule when it comes to Directs: if there is even one announcement I like, I consider the Direct to be a success. I don't expect there to be a Smash reveal, but there should be at least one interesting thing.

All I want from Paper Mario in Smash is being able to play the S.S. Flavio stage without the stage transition. Is that too much to ask?!

I've played a lot of Ice Climber, but that game was already dated when it came out. Popo's Target Test in Melee is a better Ice Climber experience than the actual game.
