Hello there! I'm Steven, though on the internet and in Smash, I prefer to go by FlintTheWolf. I started playing Smash casually when I received a Gamecube and a copy of Melee for my 4th birthday. After playing Melee and then eventually getting a Wii and Brawl, I continued to play casually up until around last year, where I stumbled upon the competitive side of Smash thanks to YouTube, a few other sites, and a couple of friends. Now that I've moved on to Smash 4 and have started training myself in Melee, I'm hoping to get myself involved within the competitive Smash community. Although my ability to compete in tournaments and against other players (with the exception of For Glory in Smash 4, an occasional online friend, and my friends whenever we get together and play) is extremely limited, I'm hoping to do so once I'm able to drive. Although I know about Melee netplay, my lack of a GC Adapter at the moment makes taking advantage of that to train far more difficult. Still, I hope that in time I'll be able to grow and become active within the competitive scene.
Outside of Smash and gaming in general, I'm an honors student, an actor, an amateur writer, occasional amateur pixel artist, and a basketball player hoping to make my school's varsity team. I'd be happy to talk and make friends via Skype (which, while I will not post publicly, I'd be happy to give to anyone who asks) and through playing Smash 4.
As for the characters I play, I'll just try to put them in a compact list:
Melee: Marth, Falco
Smash 4: Yoshi, Jigglypuff, various secondaries including Ness, Marth, and Dedede
So that's me! Again, if you want to play Smash 4 with me, I'm available most days, especially on the weekends. I'm also fine with talking to people via Skype.
