Is this correct? If you swallow and go off the edge you can footstool them when they break out of it. Don't spit them, just let them break out. You just have to mash jump faster than them. I couldn't seem to do this on Lucina though. Maybe it was just a bad day.

Based on my series of games last night against a sheik main, I found it is better to stay close. Sheik just tends to have more options at midrange although your blaster does outrange her needles.

Don't be afraid to do a couple dashes into just rolling backward or crouching to cancel your momentum. Your opponent may throw out an attack that hits nothing., or it may lead to you being able to punish them. But these empty dashes are important for keeping your approaches unpredictable. Mix it up.
