I'm a little foggy on my main. I love ZSS, but I also love the way MK handles. I love playing with speedy characters, hence why I also play TL and Marth. I like to mess around with Lucas as well because I love the psychic thing about him.

You shouldn't roll behind your opponents too much. This will get predictable and they will punish you severely for it with down smashes or forward smashes the direction you roll. I used to do this a lot and my friend whipped the habit out of me.

And the fact that he's high tier doesn't mean that anyone can pick him up and destroy with him. It takes time and practice to master his moves. The fact that he has huge potential is what makes him good.

I start it just as or right before I hit the ground. This fires it off instantly.

Use...other...approaches? Really the best way to be unpredictable is to use different moves when you approach. Use N-air approaches or F-air, or SH PKF.

I've done it. It's hard to get the timing down. You have to start the move kind of as you're still rising in the short hop so that you flip enough to get the actual spike. i don't find it very practical though. I like PK Thunder as an edge guard better.

If you pull a bomb, wait a few seconds, jump off the edge, hit Z to let go of the bomb and then d-air immediately, you'll grab the bomb, so even if you miss the spike, the bomb can explode and cancel your momentum, allowing you to recover. Takes a bit of practice to get the timing down, but...
