Jerry Applesauce, a basic user on the Smashboards site. Usually either stating things, attempting to be funny, or explaining to other users the difference between facts & opinions as well as subjectivity & objectivity with great eagerness and vigor. Typically lawful neutral in nature, although he is no player of Dungeons & Dragons despite having slight knowledge of its Alignment system. Demonstrates a high capacity for learning and intelligently analyzing multiple things. Not a blue-haired sword-wielding gorilla in real life.
He previously hoped for Mewtwo to make a comeback as a playable fighter in Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U so he could coin the terms "Bipedal Brethren" and "Neutral B Nasties" for when referring to him, Lucario, and Greninja being playable, bipedal, and having a chargeable neutral special attack. Now that Mewtwo has been announced as a playable fighter, he is absolutely ecstatic that this will come to fruition.
Jerry Applesauce has this to say about himself:
"I am a huge Smash Bros fan. Regarding the Smashboards, I'll only be around until Smash Bros for 3DS/Wii U's release, or maybe earlier. I'm only here to speculate, really, so it's suffice to say I'll be outta here before 2015.
"I enjoy both the respecting of opinions and the like of one's own. I try to be cynical within reason, but not in excess. I like arguing without assuming or insinuating negative things about other people. I like the pursuit of humility. I like when people like the things I just listed here.
"I'm a pretty nice guy, I hope.
"Stay fine, fly, cray, turnt, young, fresh, and based all ye fellers."
As you can see, he does not bite, because you are not an animal and he likes his meat medium rare. He "friends" extremely sparingly, especially online. He "follows" people he believes to be smart, intelligible, reasonable, and intuitive, even though at the time of writing he hasn't found a single practical use for that feature besides having the ability to view a list of users he thinks are cool. If he "follows" you, accept the gesture and possibly return the favor if you'd like, or if you find him to be an idiot, consider it to be an insult and take it personally, then report him.

As of July 11, 2014 Jerry Applesauce has taken his leave from Smashboards in order for him to pursue higher things with high concentration. Perhaps he will return another day, but for now he bids you all farewell.

"It was fun anticipating with you all. What a fun waste of time this has been. I'll be gone officially and permanently by October."

By the very end of November of 2014, Jerry Applesauce will have slipped into anonymity, leaving this account dormant once more.
