Well, no Balloon Fighter today. However, I have not noticed him in all the Spirits footage I’ve seen. We don’t know for sure if being a spirit eliminates a character from being playable or not, but if so maybe that helps his chances? Go Warrior of the Skies!

It has to be the first Brawl trailer for me. The music and everything was Ultimate hype. K.Rool and Everyone is Here gets close though.

Mach Rider. After playing that game constantly at my uncle’s house when I was very young, it would give me chills to see Mach Rider in Ultimate.

Man, I holding out hope for Mach Rider. I’d be super excited to see him/her in the game. (Or Balloon Fighter if the leak isn’t real...)

The one that always pops into my head is Heracross over Pichu in Melee. Heracross could have been a super fun fighting Pokemon in that game. (Also, it's my favorite Pokemon, so there's that too. :) )

If this is legit, (the whole thing at that which I'm on the fence on) I could a character who is the last boss or secret in the "Spirits" mode left off the mural to avoid spoilers. I'd compare it to something like leaving off ROB to not spoil the fact he's the Ancient Minister. Just my theory.

While Balloon Fighter is my most wanted Retro admittedly, I would be really happy to see Mach Rider in the game too. MR’s theme and design are both awesome. Sign me up as a supporter.

For Zero Suit Samus, definitely voted for Jody Summer. That would be a really interesting cross series echo.

Since Luigi’s Mansion 3 was announced, I think King Boo has a decent chance at being DLC. I’d love to see it personally. As for the question, I don’t think see the emblem changing since he’s had the mushroom since Smash 64.
