No, I came to Smashboards to state my opinions on a children's video game. It's not my fault that most of you happen to disagree with that. I'm sorry, but there was no "planning" involved. Besides, I use a Tripcode on 4chan. That can't be me.

No, you can't account for weather. There could be a 30mph wind one moment, then not even a breeze the next. There is equal opportunity for mishap for either side, due to this completely random factor. And you know what? By playing, both sides mutually agree to accept this and acknowledge...

Pardon? You're the one who registered just to try to get a rise out of me... I'd rather you not turn this into some kind of personal flame war.

Because it's SO UNREASONABLE to ask about an argument from two different, equally biased sources on opposite sides of an issue? Also, did you register an account just to troll my thread?

I am impressed, Nainsell, by your inability to either read the comics, or read the thread. I've already pointed out to R I P that his argument falls apart because these comics are not, in fact, Strawmen.

I'm too lazy, but I can give you a run-down. Comic 1. Replace golf hole with Tennis Court. Player 1 complains about air currents (beacause weather is random), spectators making noise and interfering with concentration, potential obstacles on the court. Demand they are removed. Players...

So you can control the weather? My god. Tell me your secret!

Ha ha ha. Oh jeez. Did you even read the comics? If you had, you'd have seen that they are by no means Strawman arguments. Both charactesr act in similar mannerisms on opposite sides of the issue.

Wow, that's a pretty big assumption, right there.

So, instead of refuting my points, you'll just dismiss them?

Sakurai does not want Smash to be a competitive franchise

Super Smash Brothers is and always has been a party game. Discuss.

Sakurai does not want Smash to be a competitive franchise

I'm quoting this so you can't edit it and pretend you didn't you say something so unbelievably stupid.

Sakurai does not want Smash to be a competitive franchise

Please elaborate. This does not contradict my argument. These are characters pushing the limited game mechanics to their limits, and I applaud them for them (except when those illicit glitches are abused and proclaimed as "advanced'). This engine in both concept and execution are intended to...
