In all honesty, I think meta knight is a great secondary for DDD. They're both air based, and while meta lacks the power of DDD, he makes up for it in speed.

Use ur neutral b less. Its a great move, but by over reliance you won't learn to use any of his other good moves. Plus of course the fact that it eventually does no damage. Also, try forward smash. People don't like it because of its start up lag, but this can be used to ur advantage as a mind...

DDD does have a great edge game, the strats are endless and he's basically a flying tank.
