I managed 5th place at a local with 32 players on Saturday using Roy every game. http://challonge.com/gt89h390 I lost in Winners to a Palutena/Sonic, then in Losers in a Roy mirror match.

Salem/Roanoke Smash 4 player here, always interested in seeing what kind of players and tournament scenes exist around here. My searches have come up mostly empty but I'll remain optimistic.

I'd certainly be down for some matches if nothing else =)

When up against opponents I haven't played before, I'll usually pick Speed or Jump so that I can gauge their playstyle and habits with help from the increased mobility. In subsequent matches/stocks Buster finds itself coming out more often. Shield is something I don't implement in my game...

Had some enjoyable games with a Duck Hunt user named DTFaux earlier; that off-stage play was crazy! Also want to give a mention to Malas for being the first Link main I've encountered who's game went beyond just mashing the B and L/R buttons, which was refreshing.

I'll sometimes chose Bowser and just Bowsercide one particular player over and over again. So fun. =D

Aside from SHDL, I sometimes like to approach with a short hopped N-air to U-tilt or grabs. It seems to work for me.

I find Metaknight and G&W to be Falco's toughest match-ups. MK's incredibly tiny, lessening the laser's effectiveness, can gimp his recovery, and has many other good qualitites. G&W is also small, has the bucket for stopping laser spam, and from what I've seen, he beats Falco in the air as well.

Got to go with classic Falco.

Best: Green Hill Zone(Hated it at first...but it grew on me) Worst: Seven Rings in Hand To be perfectly honest, Green Hill Zone and maybe Sonic Boom are the only songs I cared for on this course. I didn't really put much thought into the "worst" category. :/

It's not really difficult to get the timing down if you just practice alot, but the problem is, well, successfully spiking people with it. :/ Don't even think about trying it against another Ike...they'll just Aether-cide you. The D-Tilt one is almost completely useless IMO.

I thought Ike's voice was fine, to be honest. Atleast it was better than his PoR voice. The "I fight for my friends" line is kinda lame, but I'm assuming that's just a taunt.
