Yes I know people have been reporting getting the error during offline play, but I would like to know if someone got the error without even having access to an internet connection at all. You can still play offline while being on a wireless/wired connection. I still think it's a software issue...

Ye maybe, I would like to know if the internet connection might have something to do with this. Is there someone with the error that was playing without internet access at all on their Wii U? I know that this is most likely not the source of the error but would still like to know so we can rule...

Then they need to update the games to clearly show an auto-save feature so it's really clear for the player that the game is saving. I think it's something deeper than just an save function.

IGN have written an article about this problem now so now more people is aware of this issue which is a good thing. Just for now all we can do if we play make sure to always return to the Wii U menu before you shutdown your console. Edit; link to the article...

We don't even know if we need a patch. For all we know this could be an isolated hardware problem that only effect certain Wii U's created during a certain point in production.

That thought have crossed my mind as well that the NFC update may have something to do with the system-memory. Also come to think of it, I had some trouble back at the GameCube days with Smash Melee that when I was "to fast" and jumped back and forth between menus the games auto-save function...

I would strongly rule against paying for any repairs when nobody knows exactly what's causing these kind of problems. It's all just speculations right now. If you can't play on your Wii U that really stink but try to hold on for a couple of days before we get an official statement. Edit; Some...

Main so far is; Diddy kong, Megaman, Captain Falcon. Second; Ike & Bowser Jr. (That tongue lick attack, lol) I find myself to struggle a lot with Little Mac so I need to practice him a lot more before I can put him in my own tier list, haha!
