Polo

My first Smash game was Melee. I then got Brawl when it came out, and later purchased Smash 64 on Virtual Console (which I found very fun despite its age). Having greatly enjoyed all the speculation and excitement in the lead up to Brawl's release, I have also greatly enjoyed participating in speculation for Smash 4.

My favourite Smash character was Mewtwo, and I was really hoping he would come back in Smash 4. After originally thinking my dreams had been dashed, they have since turned out to have come true! I am very happy that Mewtwo is back, and he will likely become my main in Smash 4. However, I am also a fan of many other characters, so he most likely won't be my only main...

Currently, I still deciding on who I will main in Smash 4. I enjoy several characters, so it's difficult, but the characters that have stood out most to me are Robin and Bowser. I haven't had much of a chance to test Yoshi yet, but so far he seems like a really fun and strong character that suits my playstyle well. That surprised me, as I wasn't really very good with Yoshi in Melee and Brawl. I particularly disliked the way the egg roll worked (it was very easy to SD), but now it just feels so much better and is nicer to control. I remember liking Yoshi in 64, so it has been good to be able to play as him again.

Not-so frequently-asked questions
Q) Competitive or casual?
A) I often follow the competitive scene when I have time, and I look up several advanced techniques as I am interested in always improving and getting better. Ultimately however, I don't think I really play enough to consider myself a competitive player - I don't really have enough free time to get to level it would require. Most of the time I am just playing with my brother, and occasionally other relatives or friends. I would imagine I rank somewhere in the upper echelons of casual.
