My friend plays G&W a lot and of course spams turtles. Besides the obvious: 1) You can upsmash through it and trade hits if he messes up his spacing a little. I've seen Bair trade hits too before. Both are good options for a suprise KO since G&W is so light. 2) Roll right before it comes out...

Depends on the percent, I think teching lets you survive longer/makes you less predictable. If you know Ike is gonna immediatly up B...yea.

Um what? I'd also not recommend G&W since a newbie usin him gets rewarded disproportionatly for using poor tactics so he might learn good strategies slower. I'd say Lucy or wolf since their both well rounded but get punished hard for smash and projectile spam (two things noob really like).

The jab canceling shield pressureing sounds nice. Gonna have to work on that next.

You'd have to prove somehow that the number makes sense. But I don't really see the point, ledgecamping isn't so hard to get around that it needs to be banned. Annoying and effective, sure, but not impossible to beat. The theory behind games like this is simple. Let it stay a while, and a hard...

My question is how do you make new characters balanced with old? Its easy to just revert the captain and peach to their meele glory, but what about new characters like Wario, MK, or Snake? Do you just give them a random amount of extra hitstun on attacks? For that matter, what do you do about...

He's insanely easy to gimp with ROB. Just get him off the edge and Fair him to death. The only thing he's really got then is whistle, but if he gets fast you just do a reverse upB and get him under the stage with more Fairs.

Hanenbrow. I hate New Pork Cirty as a stage but sometimes its fun to play on in friendlies just because of the eye candy. Shadow Moses island is also godawful.

Yea, Norfair's my new favorite Wario stage for a few reasons. All I really have to add to this is for versus Marth. He does well on most of the stages wario does so it makes banning tough. Personally I ban Lylat, the platforms plus the weird tilts make it hard to recover against his range.

If they think FD is the most fair map then they truly are idiots.... For a lot of matchups thats close to the least fair heh.

I like Diddy, he's way better versus DDD and Marth and forces MK to ban FD to an extent if he knows you can bring a decent diddy to the table.
