Sora finds himself on a stained glass platform. On that platform, a girl with short black hair in a red cloak wielding a mechanical scythe is depicted. The girl looks to be sleeping. Sora then hears a voice telling him to take his time and to not be afraid as the door is still closed.
(Take a few steps forward.)
Suddenly, three weapons(a sword, a staff and a shield) appear on pedestals. The voice returns, informing Sora that power sleeps within him and that if he gives it form, it will give him strength.
(Pick one of the weapons to determine what power you seek, then pick one of the weapons that you’ll give up in exchange. This’ll determine what abilities you will get once you reach certain levels.)
Suddenly, the platform shatters which causes Sora to fall and eventually reach another platform, this time depicting a girl with blue hair, an equally blue sweater and rose tinted glasses. Like the previous girl, she is sleeping. The voice tells Sora that he needs to use his power to protect others as shadowy monsters emerge.
(Scripted battle against Heartless.)
After Sora defeats the heartless, a black mass appears in the middle of the platform pulling him down. He then wakes up on a new platform with a transparent door on it. Suddenly, a chest, a barrel and a crate appear.
(Open the chest, then smash the barrel and crate to gain access to the door.)
Once Sora walks through the door, Sora finds himself on Destiny Islands where three of his friends are here. The voice says that before they go any further, he wants to know more about Sora.
(Talk to Pat, Josh and Tyler and answer their questions. How you answer will affect how quick you’ll earn EXP.)
After Sora answers his friends' questions, a blinding white light surrounds him and suddenly he is on a new platform. The main focus of this platform is a sleeping blond haired girl in a Puritan era maid outfit with sharp teeth and crab claws. All of a sudden, more Shadows pop up from the ground.

A save point will appear on the platform once the Heartless are gone.

After you save, steps appear leading to the next platform
(Walk up the steps.)
This new platform depicts a girl with black hair and wolf ears, sleeping like the other people depicted have been. The voice speaks to Sora again telling him that the closer he is to the light, the greater his shadow will become. As he says this, Sora’s shadow grows and distorts into a giant Heartless.

After he defeats the Darkside, another dark void appears on the floor to drag Sora down. As he’s dragged down and the Darkside looms over him, the voice pipes up again telling him that he will be the one to open the door
