Hello stranger, my name is Samer El-Sharkawi, my Smash tag is @RinsePunk and if you didn't know already I play Smash. I have been playing the game competitively since 2013, and casually around late 2007. I was inspired mainly by the documentary, players such as PC Chris, Mango, WestBallz, and too many others that I'm too lazy to name. I have a consistency of playing mainly Project M, and Melee, however I love all of the Smash games for different reasons; but in terms of playing competitively Project M and Melee are my games of choice.

On August 31st, 2014 my friend Daniel and I created a Smash scene in St. Albert, Alberta, where we got us and all our friends together and start hosting tournaments. Majority of them were also inspired by the documentary, and we have decided to go to locals, and what not ever since. Being apart of the Alberta Smash Community is great, considering that it has a great history to it. Starting with the Punch Crew who lived in Edmonton which is 25 minutes away from St. Albert and it happens that I faced Jarrod from the Punch Crew in a doubles set in the very first Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament at an Edmonton Smash weekly. My friend Nick, and I teamed up against him and his partner. It was my first time ever playing Smash 4, we lost 2-1, but it was probably the only time I had the most fun ever playing the game.

Moving forward, I'm currently 16 in Grade 11. I love video games, psychology, sports, food, parties, energy drinks, and of course the smash community. I thankful I got involved in this community when I did, it helped me to continue making the right choices in life, gave me happiness, and I also met all my true friends.
