I looked into P1 of the series as well. FADCing back to the stage didn't seem too optimal because Venom just got grabbed out of it time and time again. Which begs my question, since trying to grab the edge with a Shoryuken against someone like Kirby is (from personal experience) a deathwish...

I feel as if some of this could be avoided if there was reputation and connection quality icons attached to someone's profile. This is assuming Nintendo literally cannot fix For Glory Hell's system.... which... would be rather silly.

I don't taunt online unless my opponent is being rude. In actual tournaments, I taunt for hype. (Ryu FADC -> Down Taunt -> Shoryuken)

This IS a fast-paced fighting game, yknow. I think wrestling/football-levels of yelling commentary are a lot more fitting than golf claps and the really unsettling thin-voiced "good play from -blank-"
