    Should I get Dragon Quest 8 when it comes out for 3DS soon? I debating whether its worth or not.

    I found it enjoyable, back when I wasn't a fan of the franchise. (It was my first DQ). I never beat it, but now that I dug out my PS2, I'm about to replay it from the start, as a fan now.

    But it is one of the best, I'd say it's the most popular one (after IX). Has a lot of cool features too. I'm just finding out now that I can recruit monsters like in DQ5, and that makes it totally worth it!

    So, it depends on how badly you want it. I may get it on sale since I already own it, but I do think it has enough content to make up for $40.
    (I forked over $60 back then, and kind of regretted it, since I was a total noob to DQ, but now I regret nothing!)

    Okay thanks! I'll definitely try to implement that. I'll always be open for rematches when I'm free. Also, your sig has Dragon Quest 9 in it. What did you think of it? It's my favorite game, I'm replaying it right now in fact.

    No, see, I'm a big DQ fan (lately), but those in my sig that are greyed out, I haven't played yet. (DQ8 has the number highlighted because I've played it but not beaten it). But it's apparently unanimous that DQ9 is the best. I NEED to play it!

    Yeah, DQ9 is IMO the best (I haven't actually played any others). I didn't think other people liked it because the gameplay is mostly combat, but the story and customization is really good. I live for that feeling when you find a new weapon/piece of armor/etc. and you're like, "Oh, this'll look really cool on ____ character!"

    No site, just used Photoshop. I looked for the biggest signature image I could find on this site, copied the size, and made my own after it. Hope this helps!
    (I bet it can be done through Gimp as well).

    Hey! Yeah, it's definitely coming, alright.
    Yeah, I'm a bit hyped. But I could be more, you know?
    Nintendo just doesn't advertise it at all. And it's not coming out on 3DS either, nor Japan, so.. it's kind of in the same place as before. Since I don't have a Wii U, I guess I'll go back to play it on the Wii VC. :(

    But hopefully, more people will want to try it out now!

    I used Adobe Photoshop for both designing and animating it. I believe Gimp has similar tools and properties (and it's much lighter), so you could use that as well (not sure on the animating part, but there are other programs out there that you can use to animate GIFs).

    Not really. I never counted on the thread being active in the first place. I was surprised it had its share of activity for a long time. But it's just disappointing to not have anything remotely related in either SSB4 version. :(

    Been a bit busy job hunting. I would like to say I'm active here, but I only pop ocassionally just to see if everything's alright.

    Yeah, it was different. My Photobucket account suddenly went all Low-bandwith on me, and I can't link anything from there anymore. And I'm not sure if DeviantArt supports GIFs, so I revamped my sig, and limited it to 10 Franchises I'd love to see (with the characters I like the most in each).

    i use imgur. you can use gifs and there is no limit like that as far as i know.

    I would say his status.

    Being strong, AND fast... and short with super fast attacks. He reminds me of a short Snake. :D

    He'll probably give me a bit more hell than Toon Link did throughout the first year of Brawl.


    But now that I've noticed how you compare his attributes to other existing characters (Jump as low as Link, a little taller than Kirby, etc) I just got a better view on how he would play so he doesn't look too overpowered anymore. I guess I missed those comparisons last time. :p
