I'm not saying it's terrible, but d-tilt comes out at frame 8 and has significant cooldown. It may be alright in certain situations, but it can be punishable. Compared to a lot of other characters, the risk/reward tradeoff for ZSS using a d-tilt is much less favorable.

One reason might be that we don't have super fast d-tilt. Other characters who frequently utilize their crouch seem to be the ones that frequently d-tilt from their crouch.

As a ZSS main, I find a good greninja pretty annoying to deal with. The shuriken is a pretty good at disrupting approaches, and greninja seems to have some good anti-aerial options when grounded. Still, I'd have to give ZSS the edge in the matchup. Neither character seems to have an amazing...

The grand finals at Apex were relatively dull because of the matchup, but overall the top 8 was incredible. Great to see two high-level yoshis competing, boom vs. moyashi was awesome, and mariguas had incredible games throughout the bracket.

Here's a thought: if we move fox far enough down on the tier list, maybe Isai will go fox at apex 2015... Make it happen people!

If we want to tie stage selection to the tier list, why not just say if you pick a lower-tiered character, you can counterpick to hyrule? Pretty simple and easy to figure out, and it would add a new whole element to the metagame. To me, this would alleviate a lot of the debate over character...

Just watched the top 8. Great stuff all around! Isai's domination with puff was crazy, and it was cool to see a wide variety of characters represented. Boom's DI against Mariguas on their last game was also epic.
