UPDATE FEBRUARY 2020: I started playing melee again. Due to my time away from melee, due to both ssbu and me producing debut album, my Falcon, Fox, and Doc are dormant, and its back to Luigi. I hope to not inevitably drop Luigi like the first time. I know a lot more about smash though now that Ive been on and off for a while. I don't care about multishining and waveshining perfectly. I want to stay away from fox this time around.

I play smash southpaw in every smash game. So I have to emulate 64 & melee. I play Ultimate with a DS4.

Left stick tilts, RIGHT STICK MOVE,
Dpad up jump, Dpad left jump, Dpad right attack, Dpad down specials,
Left trigger grab, Left bumper jump,
Right trigger shield, Right bumper specials.
Face buttons set to shield to prevent taunting by mistake.(I just t bag )
When I get grabbed, I mash the dpad, and the face buttons. I don't think it helps.
