I recently stopped playing competitive CS due to getting tired of finding a team that isn't full of emotional psychopaths. I've been playing CS for years but I'm really tired of what's happening to the community the bigger it get's so I have decided to give up on CS for now. Recently I was hanging out drinking with some friends playing some Casual Melee and I really loved the game I could tell how complex it was and how much skill was required to be proficient at it. I never played Melee as a kid so I didn't really know much about where the scene came from. So I went home and got myself informed on the scene and started watching VODS and reading Smashboards. I'm planning to play to get good enough at the game so I can go play at locals and not get smashed no pun intended. All though I will still play casual friendlies. I suck pretty bad compared to even local tourney players but I've been playing less than a month so that's okay and I am putting in the time so I will get there at some point, I'm not really worried about how quickly I "get good". It's about the journey not the destination right :D? So I decided to main Falco, I have been learning and practicing tech skill a couple hours a day and playing netplay a little too. At some point when I get a little more consistent in my ability to use tech in real matches I will go and play at some locals. Until then though I'm going to practice and play friendlies and try my hardest to get competent at this awesome game. The Smash community is really awesome and inviting and full of really cool people. I hope to meet and talk to some of you at some point. Until then let's get to practicing!
