Is there a prize for winning a local tourney? I've heard from some people that you get the game free, and from others that you get nothing. It'd be nice if you got something for winning locals, even if it was just a strategy guide or shirt or something.

I'm thinking Link, Ike, Pit and MetaKinght are all possibilities.

Excuse me if someone has already pointed this out, I've been away for a couple days. This YouTube video is now confirmed to be real, because it has the same announcer as the new Brawl videos, and because the roster is consistent with Famitsu reports. There are 23 characters in the starting...

I doubt Nintendo really cares whether the number of starters looks funny. :P

Nintendo does as they please. If they want an Animal Crossing stage and no PC, then dammit, that's what they get. There's no formula dictating what characters they use and don't use.

First off, your 35 roster doesn't have Luigi. That should be more than enough to cause serious doubts. Second, the only part of the two rosters that match up are the first 7 slots in the top row. 7 out of 35. That's not terribly convincing. Yes, I know slots can move around as you unlock...

There will probably be lots of Goombas as enemies. Someone issues their commands, right? Still doesn't mean King Goomba is playable though.

The 35 roster has in no way been debunked. The only thing that has been debunked is what characters the roster could potentially be composed of.
