    I wouldn't be complaining if Arsene was like Cloud's limit meter. However, Arsene lasts for 30 seconds, so if you can't KO Joker fast enough, you're screwed. It's pretty easy to do with Meta Knight (Edge guard), but if you are using someone who KOs out of raw damage, you're out of luck.

    @Oz MK isn't trash you just need to know how to use him, I can KO people easily with him in first 15 seconds of the battle (this is in Smash Ultimate)

    You just have to be mindful of when you use your cape. If your opponent immediately shields, then don't attack when you come out.

    I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing with metaknight lol I don't have a 3.6 million GSP with him for no reason. It's just that ~?~ is really good at beating on metaknights because he covers front back and above all at the same time because he likes to throw bombs up and do landing boomerang behind him while approaching. my only general option that is the safest is to either wait in the corner which is always bad, or come in from the front and try to beat him out on a whiff, but his reaction timing is good and sometimes he gets the parry after he whiffs or if he reads a grab he spot dodges. He's just super frustrating and plays like a troll.

    Haden Haden One method that works for me is to constantly teleport and attack, and when your opponent starts to shield when you teleport, DON'T attack, grab the shielded opponent, do a quick pummel and a throw to the closest edge, then you can set up some edge guarding.

    Arsene buffs Joker a lot. The only way I can get around that is to sneak Meta Knight under the stage.

    .....just win neutral and put him into an upair juggle, and if you have battlefield, put him into a double upair juggle with the latter combo.... it's really not that bad because you can literally combo him hard enough to pretty much turn Ars off.

    The problem is that Arsene makes Joker move very fast, so unless your opponent is slow/stupid, it is difficult to juggle Joker with Arsene out (my strategy is to juggle, so I have first-hand experience) because Meta Knight's neutrals aren't very strong so Joker usually wins due to raw power/speed. It worked with Lucina though
