    Rest only works when you're right on your opponent, i.e. when your two models are blending together. Otherwise, it does nothing.

    Same here. It was so freaking scary. I don't know about the healing though. Maybe the gifts should be character specific. 'Cause if I was playing as Lucario (as I usually am), I would hate to be frequently healed. But then again, you could just purposely fail at the mini games.

    Hmm..tricky. Well, I'd have to say that my favorite is Delfino Plaza. The music is pretty good, and it's really fun to look at all the different parts of the stage.
