I'm starting to think that at least the premise behind the missing veterans could be a real possibility. It makes sense that if certain characters were harder to implement on the 3ds, that they may be dlc in the future, and likely free, as I bet at least the ice climbers and maybe Lucas week...

They count, and I agree - and reminds me that in the 64 version the crowd was much more involved with their oohs and ahhs increasing in intensity as you were knocked further and further, that was kinda fun too, but it's clearly not back this time and I'm not sure it fits with the theme for any...
