    Not too bad. Met a nice gal, which is fun. Planning my first overseas trip, which is exciting. And of course I'm bordering on the verge of mania for Smash Bros. Ultimate, which is probably unhealthy. Looking forward to losing another large chunk of my life to a Smash game, haha.

    I actually don't think they did it on purpose - casual players don't care how strong a character is, and tournament players are going to buy the character anyways because that's how tourney players are. I think they just didn't really compare the dlc characters to old characters very well, which is why they tended to have crazy frame data/damage/kill power/etc.

    Oh no disagreement. That and the obsession with someone's character moving up and down a tier list. The way some people post about tier lists, it's almost like they think that they'll start doing better if their character moves up the list. It's very odd.

    True. I think in the long shadow of Smash 4 patching has been done pretty well, and a lot better than I would have thought given previous Smash games, but there have been a few unfortunate casualties along the way.

    Patching has been mostly good but the more I read the more worried I am. I hope they stay Japan centric with them tbh, going by the US scene on this boards me no likey. Our top players are pretty fine though.

    I wouldn't be too worried about that. The day that Nintendo favors American thoughts over Japanese thoughts is the day they finally answer my letters and put Snake back into Smash 4, haha.
