I'm reminded that this is one of the single most downloaded Elden Ring mods

Though the Bandai Namco logo is kind of a flashbang so I get it.

I think it's pretty common, if you just go on a mod site like NexusMods and search up "skip logos" or "skip intro" or something then those mods are usually pretty highly downloaded.

Even with ADHD it's never really bothered me but it is what it is.

I wouldn’t call myself a logo kid, but I’ve always found those “evolution of [x] logos” videos really interesting, and unless they’re SUPER long (I’m not talking about Cinemasins’ x seconds of logos bit, just every logo taking way too long on its own), I don’t mind not being able to skip them.

(the exception is thx that logo can go sit in the corner and think about what it’s done)

the thing that really did get under my skin when i was younger is that i had this portable dvd player at one point but it wouldn't let you skip a lot of the stuff that metadata in the dvds prevented you from skipping, so i'd be in the car on a trip somewhere or i'd be like "yeah, i'll watch a dvd" then have to wait fifteen minutes for anti-piracy screens in every concievable language to pass by, then another fifteen minutes of unskippable adverts for films that'd been out for like a decade minimum, and then - and only then - getting the privilege of being able to watch the ****ing film

i wonder why people turn to piracy over official methods of viewing this sort of stuff, it's truly a mystery

Oh yeah, trailers and anti-piracy are 100% dumb.

Yeah that was exactly my experience a lot of the time, I had a big case of DVDs and this barely working DVD player when I was a kid, and it was always sitting through minutes of text and trailers. I don't think I was old enough to like consciously register what was being said on the anti-piracy screens or what the trailers were for, I just knew it wasn't the movie.
