Something I just noticed in the trailer is that Bubsy's eyes are rings (white pupils), that's how he looked in the 16-bit games, but not any of the other Bubsy media. I also think he might have the Japanese box art hair style? To me, the kinda ideal Bubsy design is short loose sleeves; JP hair style; brownish orange and beigish yellow fur; and ring eyes. While I think the new Bubsy design might be a bit too vibrant and orange (If you look at Bubsy's influences, Warner Bros; Disney; Jay Ward, all those characters had somewhat realism-grounded colour schemes for animals most of the time), it's otherwise ticking a lot of the boxes
