Yes you almost think there was a massive global pandemic happening at the time. Oh wait

That's no excuse, the game doesn't even attempt to follow up stuff from the previous game

The caves were awesome, and Ultrahand/Fuse are both super fun, that was enough for me. I wish they kept in the Master Cycle and upgraded Master Sword though, maybe as a bonus if you had a save file with the BotW DLC on your switch or something.

Personally my issue with Ultrahand is that it was a cool concept that I barely used because it was clunky and the game wasn't designed around it. It feels like a 70$ expansion to Breath of the Wild that doesn't really address the criticism that people had with the game and doesn't really justify its existence as a result

Also the way I view this and BotW's Hyrule is basically how Sonic fans view Green Hill Zone, I'm so sick of it

I don't really see the appeal of the caves honestly. There's barely anything in them and they're a chore to navigate.

Also the fact that nobody reconizes Link (but Tarrey town still exists??) was so sad and it genuinely made me not want to do very many side quests

fogbadge It's no excuse because the mission statement for the game to begin with isn't to follow up Breath of the Wild, it's to make a Breath of the Wild but more.

It had six years in development and was delayed numerous times, the game functions just fine, but it feels like they didn't care that much.

Five years much of which was done from home

Still a glorified BotW expansion that costs 10 dollars more
