yeah i do it on purpose a lot lol. when they DI into the stage they bounce off the edge and get spiked downward due to the angle lol

Ahhh no no. it's not spiked from hitting the stage, its from the shine itself. I do realize you can stage spike with shine, but the shine itself spiked them down, not the stage.

another example would be when i shined on stage, jumped to shine them in midair above the stage, and it spiked them down. no ledge or anything above. does that clear up the situation?

at first i did think it was just my melee copy, but it also did it while i was using 20xx
