it might be just the fact that you don't NEED to pay to play. Since its free. You can play the game without paying anything at all. But ye, it is pretty ridiculous.

It's only let slide because most average Mario players don't even use phones, let alone own a iOS (and that's IF it's not used for just texting). Heck, it'd be a bit much to expect kids to ask mom and dad for allowance every other day.
