So I decided to get away from Ice Climbers for a bit and focus on another character. Dont get me wrong, Im not quitting IC, just having another character to play rather than IC.

As you can tell, I am asking for some advice for my Sheik. Most of these matches Betrayed has already posted, but this is advice for myself. So some assistance on what to do more, to do less, etc. As you may have heard, Please no "OMG You suck" cause.... we know x.x. We are just posting here to get better.

Ok so I'll save you all from the embarrasing matches of myself about a year ago cause even I know that I have gotten better since then. But if you want to see them, uh..I might post them if you ask >.>.

Ok so here are the matches:

You have to balance both forms and choose which one to use at battles. but if you main sheik practice your recovery(YOU'LL NEED IT) and the timing of your attacks.

Pretty good technically, but it seems to me like you lack experience with your character and with some of the stages. There were several points where you missed pretty big opportunities to punish your opponent. Also, I believe that recovery onto the edge is usually the best course as more seasoned players will punish the up b lag. Your edgeguarding is the most prominent weakness that I noticed. You very rarely edgehogged and mostly just waited for them to get back to the ledge. Reverse needle canceling is a fairly quick and easy way to get on the edge, and from there you have numerous options. Keep on practicing! :)

Ok, Ein and Chaos, thank you for the advice.

I dont edgehog to much for the fact that both Balls and Trigger know how to punish me when I attempt to edgehog. But Ill work on some things and see if they work.

I'll will try to do what you told me but I cant guarentee quick results. But ill keep on practicing :).

I'll post more vids at a later date of my "improvements".

Can someone elaborate on how reverse needle canceling is done?

Also I dont mean to rapid jab, I just press A to quickly and that gets in the rapid jab. A habit I need to stop x.x.

jump over the ledge, tap towards it, hold B to start charging needles, and press L/R to cancel the needle charging so you can grab the edge.

I think most competent sheiks will be doing it, probably easiest to look on youtube for one of the tutorial vids

P.S. Sorry, that's not to say you're incompetent.
