So far this are the only videos I have featuring my Sheik, however advices are really appreciated. What I noticed on my own is:

- I have a lot of technical issues (just notice how many times I screwed while trying to edgeguard my opponent, this might be because of torunament stress though)

- I have problems at the edge (really no idea of how to get past Falco's spacing once I grab the edge)

- I have problems getting out of comboes (advices are really appreciated for this one in particular)

- I have problems getting past Falco's Utilt.

You need to work on your DI.

Also if you find yourself getting hit by falco utilt, try spacing differently.

As in, don't challenge him when you're above.

I noticed that he beat your bair with utilt once, and that's because you threw it too early.

2Also if you see him shielding already and you're in the air, quit trying to nair his shield, a good falco with shine you out of his shield everytime.

3Quit trying to shield grab his pillaring, instead shield his dair shine and then jump out of shield with nair. This works on all falco's except those that double shine after dair.

4Work on your recovery options, and how far towards the stage and such you can go with your UPB, also when you bthrow falco off of the wind mill you can just wd back off and then slow fall bair, which will beat all his recovery options.

5Your recovery was a lot better this match, however you don't DI any of his combo's the entire match... wtf also I didn't see many grab the entire set.

I'm curious about the rule setting in Italy. Can you not ban neutral stages? Most sheik players strike FD against Falco. Can you go back to a stage you won on? Match 5 you played Dreamland which you already won on.

Hope this helped.

the tournament was held in France, the ruleset included Dave's stupid rule but my opponent must have forgot it =P. Stage banning was off for this one but we sometimes include it.

I'm not sure about the shield shine thing on the point 2. Spacing Nair away should allow Sheik to avoid it.

Anyway you're right about grabs, I just find it too hard to do against Falco because of lasers.

if you space the nair at the end of Falco's shield he can't do anything i'm pretty sure, plus you have low lag so you can ftilt or something

He may be able to usmash out of shield, I'm not sure.

Also the ones I was referring to weren't spaced.

If they weren't spaced then it's a mistake, thanks for noticing though ;)

yeah, Usmash out of shield pretty much screws the Nairs, fortunately not many Falcos come up with it spontaneously ;)

You know the little sprinkles you had on your ice
The only offensive tactic I've seen used from a shield is the shield grab. Other than that it's just the dodging and the rolling and the ooh-ow-pain-die that comes with the slow fingers.

Edit: you can also use needles on the ground to slow attacks for a few frames. Use those few frames to cancel the attack out with a jab, or dare I say, throw your shield up.
