A buddy of mine recorded most of my singles pools matches from Apex, the quality is pretty good for a camera imo. Youtube didn't upload them in proper order for some reason, but they are all labeled properly. Also some doubles with Amsa, Vman, DoH, Aniolas, and Swedish vs Hax is on there.

I was overall happy with how I played this tourney, there were a few games where I felt my movement was off, usually happening after having long breaks while waiting for sets (johns), but other than those few games I was pretty satisfied.

Well the link I posted wasn't all g&w vids, so i thought it would be too broad to put in that thread. But I'll know for next time.

Hey i think You should waveland grab people on platforms more like grabs are free air attacks vs ffers any how.

Also wavelanding off ledge should be faster so You can have a inv. grab/d-tilt.

Also when someone is directly above You and You wanta stop a drop down attack why not bair? It chains well and sets up a lot of tech chases vs fox. I use bair to tech chase him a lot just to wait for him to tech somewhere I can really f him up. Like when they're on. A platform

I agree that I should waveland grab more, but it does depend on the matchup. Fox can pretty easily dd away from a missed waveland grab and punish with grab/up-smash for example.

I do use b-air occasionally when my opponent is above me for the reason you mentioned and because it's typically a safe option, but again it depends on matchup. Against fastfallers, I more frequently go for a waveland regrab or tech-chase n-air/f-air to get them off stage as early as possible, as then a gimp opportunity is presented. Whereas going for a b-air doesn't guarantee this option as often. However against floatier characters i will go for this option more often.

Also I watched the video you linked.. g&w cannot up-throw chain grab fox to ~60%. It's like high 20%'s and then fox can shine out of it. I wish it was that easy.. lol.

Though I agree that foxes tend to DI towards platforms when you throw which I try to take advantage of as much as possible which is actually a really good thing to point out, thanks for that.

Yeah sorry about the bad info i used it from smash boards. But still two up-throw of one with one b-throw 3rd grab grab pummel d-throw chain throw is mad legit. Honestly i go straight for the d-throw chain grab which bad. I think it's possible to react to at 0% but sometimes i lean over ans look at their controller to pick the best finsher/regrab

I've never had land regrab probelms but i've only really abuse it with chartcers like ics, pichu, fox, sheik and rarely zedla.

Other than zedla they all have much faster jumps.

I've also found if You ever f up space and and other really niche cases or oos options if You up-b vs fox past about 50% they will offen miss their tech and slow roll away. That with edge canceling it makes it really good in it's few niches. My goal is to just keep reseting fox as safely as possible till he does a bad tech to me and i can end it.

Also vs ics b-throw is Your safest throw. If You're fast it really will throw them off and smack them into each other. It's wierd and jank and you have to grab popo i think?

But i've never done it in match only been the ics fighting the watch. And it works only because b-throw has the biggest hitbox in front of watch and then the inv. frames happen after the hit so it wouldnmt be cc punished normally. It's like pika b-throwing which it works if they let You but i'll mess them up for a minute
